I`m McLaren, a wild parrot from the vibrant San Francisco flock. Recently, I`ve had a rough patch—I was exposed to rat poison, and it`s left me feeling pretty sick. The vets are evaluating me right now, trying to understand the extent of the neurological damage the poison caused. I`m a bit wobbly these days, but the good news is they`re looking to pair me up with another parrot who understands what it`s like to be a little off-kilter. I`m hopeful for a future where I can still enjoy life, even with my new challenges. (June 2025)
