Thanks to the support of many many generous people, we have raised almost $3K toward our $15K fundraising goal. All of our birds (including these four, recently rescued from a household where the owner had passed away) are very appreciative that so many people care about them!

The Mutts story arc from one year ago concludes with Mooch successfully returning the non-fledged bird to its nest ... just in time for a parent bird to show up, skeptical of a cat's intentions.
And now (with apologies to fans of the late Douglas Adams) the fifth episode in what I originally announced as a four-part Mutts story arc from one year ago today.
Part four of last year's Mutts story arc wraps up our month. (There will be a part five and six tomorrow and Monday; when I set up my posting schedule I failed to look forward into May to see if the story arc continued ... and it did.)
All I could think of when I first saw this strip is my own Mickaboo budgie Chaos, who never learned to fly and makes his share of "landings" as a result.
