I've been happily adopted, but check below for a list of other sweet birds who need a home!

Gobble gobble! No, I'm not real a turkey and I don't play one on TV. I'm a cockatiel kid, only a few months old. Of course, I'm amazingly cute, but I do have some special needs. I was rescued from a petstore when the manager found me covered with blood. For some reason, I had mutilated my back and nearly died from blood loss. After medications for various infections, I'm on the mend but may always have to be watched carefully. I hope I soon have all my lovely feathers because I'm a real show off. When other 'tiels are around, or just a shiny mirror, I really strut my stuff. I'm also "into" male cockatiel vocalizing, so my new person better appreciate my talent. My favorite foods are avian cakes, warm corn and peas, whole grain bread and bananas. I'll try anything warm and mushy! With all the medicating I've had to put up with, hands coming right at me make me nervous. But once I'm out, I love head rubs and cuddling. If you are looking for a sweet turkey who will give you "leftovers" you'll enjoy for years to come, please let me come for dinner--and stay!
