I've been happily adopted, but check below for a list of other sweet birds who need a home!

Update 3/7/2007 - My husband and I are bird sitting Geneva this week, and I can verify that she is an absolute sweetheart. Other than her daily snacks, she loves nothing more than to cuddle up with you and get scritches. It's sometimes hard to figure out what she wants, but for the most part she's happy eating and getting scritches. I pray that someone with a cozy lap and some extra time will fall in love with her and want to adopt her. ------------------------------------------------------- Update: Geneva has been converted to a Harrison's pellet diet (along with fruits and veggies) and is stable health-wise. She still has some issues with stability when it comes to perching - and has a strange love of dunking her head in her water dish (which causes her to sneeze repeatedly) but otherwise seems ok.

I am one of the famed "Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill" but I'm now a Mickaboo bird because I have come down with the neurological illness that affects some members of the flock. I was found in San Francisco, unable to perch or fly, and a wonderful Mickaboo volunteer rushed out to rescue me and take me to a vet. I'm not as sick as some of the flock are when found, but I am taking it easy for now and working at getting better.
