I've been happily adopted, but check below for a list of other sweet birds who need a home!

Hi there- I'm Tiger a moluccan cockatoo in my 20's. I've been with my family for 21 years-when they recued me from an abusive situation. My mom, my main pal, died 4 years ago. I've lived with my dad alone since then but we're not too buddy- buddy as I seem to have a preference for women. My dad opens my cage door every morning and I hang out on my cage all day long. When I decide to go in he closes me up for the night. I don't really like to be touched much. Although my dad gives me fresh fruits and vegetables every day I don't eat them much. I have to give him credit though as he keeps offering them to me anyway- hoping I'll change my mind. I eat cockatiels seed mix and sunflower seeds. My foster mom will need to work with me quite a bit to get me to eat pellets and a better seed mix. . . perhaps even some nice leafy greens. She has cockatoos of her own so I suspect she has some tricks up her sleeve to get me to eat better. I do pluck a bit. I have not told nay one why- maybe it's because I miss my mom. I've been healthy all my ilfe with the exception of an eye infections years ago. I went to the vet for that and it healed just fine. If you would like to give an old guy a chance and have lots of patience I could be a good companion for you. Are you a kind, gentle human (preferable female) that might want to adopt me? If so please call Mickaboo!
