I'm a big handsome boy of nearly nine years of age. That's just a teenage boy in term of cockatoo years. We live to be over 50 years old if we are well taken care of. My name s Roxy but I also like to be called Rock. I say, "Hi Roxy" and mumble some other unintelligible things as well. I am happiest when I am able to be out and around of my cage and around humans. Let me strut my stuff, and hop back and forth, on the back of your couch and I'm a happy bird! I just LOVE to take showers- oh that is so much fun. Maybe I can keep you company in the shower? My feathers are in beautiful condition and did I tell you that I am very handsome?!?! I'm already on a pelleted diet so I am quite healthy. I could stand to learn to eat a few more veggies though. Forget cute little dainty bird toys with me. Give me a big 'ol hunk of soft wood, like pine and I'll be content to chew it up. I'm not hard to please, really I'm not. I lived with my first family for eight years and my second family just eight months. I'd be ecstatic to find a forever home though- one where I can live to be in my golden years.
