Hello- My name is Angel. I'm an adult king pigeon that was found by Animal Control officers on 3/7. I was at SFACC, safe and warm and fed, for a couple of weeks but I wasn't doing well and when MickaCoo saw how emaciated and weak I was, they brought me home for foster and supportive care. I was SO skinny! I was just feathers and bones but my foster mom hand fed me and wormed me and helped me recuperate and in a while, I grew strong enough to join the other pigeons outside in the coop. That's when a young bird named Bo started courting me and then we fell in love and then I got VERY lucky because we were adopted and now get to live at Filoli! HOw's that for a rags to riches story?
