Elijah and Ciatol: Best Feathered Friends Forever Elijah and Ciatol are two best bud budgies for over five years now. Both were rescued from Corpus Christi pet stores by a loving owner who, sadly, can no longer provide them a home. E&C have kept their happy selves through thick and thin and love to play with toys, hunt for seeds (which they stubbornly prefer over pellets at this time), sing and babble like budgies do, and sometimes preen each other. Elijah, the blue one, was thought to be Delilah untii his blue cere revealed his boyish charm. Green-feathered Ciatol was named after a fictional character in a story written by his former owner as a child. Both boys are healthy although Ciatol's beak needs to be trimmed every six weeks or so due to an untreatable, but not serious or contagious, liver condition which he is managing very well.
