I've been happily adopted, but check below for a list of other sweet birds who need a home!

Avery is a 4 1/2 year old male looking for a forever home where he can relax, play and be silly and just plain enjoy life again. He was the center of attention in his former home and life was grand for his first three years, then the competition and jealousy began! His family now shares their small apartment with a little person who was OK when she was just a tiny thing, but then she started walking and talking and demanding even more attention from mom & dad. Not to be outdone, he slowly and methodically plucked his chest and part of his back and he started vocalizing his feelings of displeasure. It seemed he was happiest when he was in the bedroom all by himself and could have some peace and quiet. Being the intelligent bird he is, he would not thrive living closed up in a room all by himself so his "parronts" surrendered him to Mickaboo after repeated attempts to cure the problem including consultations with his avian vet. He really seems to enjoy being part of the flock in his temporary foster home and surprises us with new words daily! He is quite the happy little character in his fluffy grey pajamas. He's not real fond of the warm spritzing showers, but will tolerate them. Any room in your home and heart for a wonderful Eclectus?
