I've been happily adopted, but check below for a list of other sweet birds who need a home!

Hello there. I'm "Princess", a young lady cockatoo of about ten. I am definitely a girl because I once proudly laid an egg for my owner! Sadly, my owner needs to give me up because I am loud. Unfortunately that is a common occurrence with cockatoos- folks don't understand that screaming is often a happy sound to us birds. The other problem, though, is that we live in an apartment. Cockatoos and apartments definitely do NOT go together well. I've been fed well eating all sorts of good things including pellets! I like noodles, fruits, vegetables and meat. I usually "try it" and "like it you see". Of course I'll always appreciate a cracker as a treat too. Stepping up is something I will do quite nicely when you need me to -such as going back into my cage at night. I am used to being out of my cage many hours of the day- so I hope my new family will let me do that too. No one likes to be locked up all day right? I say "Pretty bird" and I tend to grumble under my breath at times- Maybe I am just trying to be coy to see if you can figure out what it is I am actually saying. Sometimes large things, or hats, can scare me. It just all depends upon the situation. All in all though I'm really a pretty good little gal. I'm available very soon- so if you're interested please write to my coordinator at the link below my story.
