Hi, I'm Buzz the cockatiel. My previous human mom left me and my mate at a veterinary hospital after we had been attacked by a rat! Both of us had serious injuries and my mate didn't survive. :-( I have a badly broken leg and had surgery to remove part of my foot. Now I'm recovering under the expert care of one of Mickaboo's most experienced foster parents. I hope you will consider sponsoring me through Mickaboo's Angel program, as I will need ongoing veterinary care.

After a few weeks in foster care, my broken leg is still not healed but it's getting better, I'm eating on my own and getting more comfortable around people. I'll need some ongoing veterinary work and rehabilitation but, thanks to Mickaboo I am getting all of the care that I need.
