UPDATE: Charlie came to Mickaboo with a severe respiratory infection for which his owner could not afford vet care. He was rushed to a vet. Even with good care, Charlie almost died twice because he is very sensitive to most medications. He is recovering very slowly. Because he seems to have developed an immune system problem, for the time being he lives in an incubator and is not available for adoption. Are we cute little boy budgies, or what? If you don't know the answer, you're not looking at us! Our mom had to surrender us because she couldn't afford to pay for our vet bills, and Charlie was really sick. Snowey was pretty worried, but Charlie is a feisty little guy and he pulled through. Snowey is very calm, and will sit on your finger to visit. Charlie is very busy, he has to make sure the toys all work and they get fed on time, and he examines every inch of their cage every day to be sure everything is ok. At night they sleep very close to each other because they're afraid they'll be separated again. We think these two little guys should be adopted together -- they're best friends forever!
