Elroy here. I was found in the South Bay and brought to a shelter there. Like most of the good animal shelters in the Bay Area, this one knows about Mickaboo and they know what is best for little guys like me. For pet birds, the difference between an animal shelter and a Mickaboo foster home is huge. We feel so much safer in a home with people to socialize with, where we aren't surrounded by dozens of dogs and cats.

I'm a pied cockatiel, with a mixture of cinnamon, grey and white colors topped off by a tall yellow crest. My foster mom says that I look young and will be a great friend for some lucky person. I'm still honing my social skills but i like to be around people and I call out to the other cockatiels here. I can wolf-whistle but sometimes get the notes mixed up, and I make little clicking sounds if you make them first. I'll do best in a home with at least one other cockatiel and a human friend.
