I am a beautiful blue-fronted amazon of 14 years. I come from a loving stable home where I was the only bird and very loved. My home had a beautiful garden where I spent a lot of time with my family. My foster family says I'm the most adorable bird. I love to play with my toys while someone is working on the computer. I sometimes talk quietly in my growly amazon voice. I've said "Hi" in the morning, "Good" when I get a treat I want, "Oh No!" when I'm being funny and "Ow!" when my new pin feathers get in the way of a head scratching. Sometimes when I think no one is listening, I talk in a little girl's voice and remember conversations I had when a little girl and I were very small. I let my foster mom scratch my head when I'm in a good mood. Most birds frighten me and I don't like people in red clothes. I startle easily and it takes awhile for me to calm down. Part of my problem is that I can put on a show of being a tough guy. Deep down, I'm really not that scary at all. I miss having an active family to share my day. If you sing me a few songs and share some food with me, I'll be your friend. Do you have a song for me? Nov. 2010: I have fallen in love with DeeBee the blue front amazon. The first time I saw her at a Mickaboo adoption fair, I said "Oh Baby!". I always missed her after that. When she needed a new foster home, she came to my house and we never want to be apart again! She likes women and I like men for our special human friends. Let Mickaboo know if you have the perfect home for us. __________ WE BROKE UP! It's all my fault.
