Hi, I'm Kiska the Green Cheek Conure. I am a sweet shy 2 year old who just loves to cuddle and get head scritches. I think a nice shoulder is about the safest place in the world right now, and it is the first place I seek out whenever my cage is opened. My foster family is trying to convince me that there is a lot more fun to have out there if I step out of my comfort zone, and I am starting to think there just may be something to that.

I think I may be best suited to a quieter home that doesn't have any dogs or cats, those critters really scare me. I haven't met any other birds face to face yet. I do chip a friendly reply back to my neighbors? calls from the next room, so meeting them someday might not be so bad.

When it comes to speaking, I prefer to whisper. The most common thing to come out of my beak is the most important word -my name! I greet people with it in the morning and will gladly repeat it when someone addresses me, it is hands-down my favorite word. My foster dad thinks I may know more because I whisper quietly to myself when ever there is a phone conversation near me, but I am still a little to shy to speak up.
