Dodi is an exquisite peach-faced lovebird with an incredible rescue story. Ron, an incredibly caring man on the North Oakland/Berkeley border, noticed Dodi atop the second story roof of his neighbor. Assuming Dodi might be hungry, Ron threw peanuts to Dodi while observing him. Ron, also on the second story, opened a window and Dodi flew right in. He lived in the room for a few days, perfectly behaved, until Ron purchased a cage for Dodi. Unable to keep this little bird with whom he fell in love, Ron contacted Mickaboo. Dodi's foster mom says Dodi is very docile and well behaved. Although he doesn't yet step up, he is always gentle when handled. Dodi would be perfect for an apartment, condo, or townhouse as his little voice is very quiet, when he talks at all.
