I've been happily adopted, but check below for a list of other sweet birds who need a home!

Hello, my name is Dovee. I'm an EXTREMELY lucky king pigeon that was rescued by a really nice lady. She's taking care of me while MickaCoo helps to find me a forever home. Here's what she says about me: Dovee is a healthly White Rock Dove King Pigeon. He was rescued from Cheers bar in Pacifica back on October 7, 2008. He has not laid any eggs so I think he is a male, and maybe about 2 years old. Kings are utility pigeons and mostly used for squab or sometimes they are (improperly) used as wedding release "doves" here at the beach weddings. That is what I think he was. Dovee could be fine as an indoor pet bird or would do good in an outdoor aviary as well. If you are interested please contact Cheryldickinson3@yahoo.com or call 650-359-1956. And here's what I can tell you- if it wasn't for Cheryl, I'd be dead! And I don't want to die. I like life. I'm a domestic pigeon meaning I can't just survive out on the streets like the ferals ones. I need a home! I'm tame and will charm you with my coos and struts and pirouttes. You can read more about king pigeons at www.RescueReport.org or send questions to Elizabeth, the MickaCoo pigeon coordinator, at AdoptKings@gmail.com. Thank you!
