Hello, we're Sweetlips, Lee and Dixie. We three young pigeons were dumped at the corner of Lake and Fulton. We were scared, hungry, cold, sick and in great danger from dogs, hawks, cats, cars, people and even starvation. Luckily, The Animal Control Officers from SFACC rescued us and brought us to their shelter. That was much better but we were sick and needed even more help. Luckily again, MickaCoo took us in as fosters and we've been getting better and better! We had a little relapse there (we've recovered from both canker and respiratory infections) but now we're healthy and strong and going to live a happy life in a WONDERFUL aviary that is so big and cool it's called "the Palace"! So, for three sick little meat pigeons dumped all alone on the mean city streets, we did alright!
