Update 9.05.09: I am starting to chew on the toys in my cage. I'm still shy and reluctant to take any treats from fingers. Faces are fine and I will accept a few toe kisses. Men are special and I enjoy having one in the room with me. I enjoy preening a man's hair too. My foster mom sings "A Bicycle Built for Two" to me and I'm starting to like it. She says I'm precious like a Daisy and that helps me relax. Update 4.11.09: I definitely like men especially the ones with dark curly hair and a beard. I listen intently to every word he says and sing when that special man is in the house. When he is gone, life seems rather humdrum and I mumble to myself as amazons are known to do. I am eating well and enjoy gentle mists of water while grooming my feathers. _______________________________ I am a sweet and calm bird of unknown age. Life is a little scary because I haven't seen a lot of what life has to offer a bird.
