Hi there. My name is Otto. Nice to meet you. I was surrendered to a local shelter and from there I ended up in a foster home with Mickaboo (shelters aren't really set up to take care of birds like me!) I ended up having to have surgery soon after because another bird I'd been surrendered with bit my toe really badly. It wasn't on purpose, he was afraid and I was trying to rescue him. Thankfully my toe was saved, but I did lose a toenail!

So after a week or two at the hospital, I'm back in my foster home and doing really well.

Everyone at the vet's office loved me, and of course they should! I'm a sun conure - we're loveable! I should warn you, that I'm VERY proud of being a Sun, and sometimes I can't help but sing out to tell the world how happy I am to be me - it gets a little loud at times. But I'm not an all-day yeller - just at times I get a little exhuberant. :)
