10/14/09 Update.
So i just recently moved in with my new foster mom and its only been a few days but i feel right at home. I'm getting to know my new room mates and well i think i like him, hes a Nanday like me. Funny enough I'm the quieter one but i do have a voice at times, I would rather hang out on your shoulder and snuggle with you but only on my terms. Sometimes my roomy laughs at me because when i was a baby i rubbed my eye so much it sometimes stays closed, but that's ok my mom still loves me. I have no problems with males or females but at this time I love my mom and i don't like to share. I think I'm starting to like banana's i see my roomy eating them so i have tried a few and there not to bad. Who would have thought!

Original Story:
Hey there folks! My name is Fletcher. I am a cute little Nanday Conure that has a lot of personality. I was hatched on 10/17/1992. I was rescued back in November of 2008 by my current foster daddy from a home that was very neglecting and my cage was way too small. We have been great partners for over a year but his job is taking him away from me way too often and he wants me to be happy. So, I am looking for a new home.

I am a smart little lady that has a lot of love to give out there. Daddy comes home and opens my cage and I love climbing out and standing on top to see whats going on. I am very curious of so many things and if given the chance I would climb and explore as much as I can so he needs to watch me at times. Other times I am content on hanging out and just being part of the family unit. I have, to be honest, nipped dad once or twice but I have never bitten a kid! I know the rules!

I like to hang out on the shoulder and make my cute little noises. I do have a Conure voice and I will use it. I am on a pellet diet but I love my sunflower seeds and so happy when I get my treats. Good thing daddy controls how much I get. He has not been able to get me to eat any kind of veggies. I hear him all the time telling me how these supposed weird looking things are so tasty and good for me. Humph! Believe it when I see it, so I challenge you.
