"Hullo, Hi, Howudoin" Those are some of the words I say in my low voice. My name is Radar, a DNA sexed male Blue & Gold macaw, who turned 38 years old recently. I am a large bird with a reserved personality and generally quiet. I like attention but not the "touchy feely" stuff. I enjoy being around other large birds and have lived in homes with dogs and cats. I'm pretty sure little human kids or active noisy dogs would try my patience! I have learned the joy of toys and am a shredding fiend. You can give me a piece of clean and safe 2"x4" and I am good to go. I was a bit stiff in the wings and feet but have been exercising by climbing nets and have become agile. I also love music, have my own style of singing and dancing and love to have someone sing and dance along with me. For many years I didn't come out of my cage but have been learning "clicker" training and know how to step up nicely. If you have a home where I can continue my exercise and training, we could have so much fun together. I will bring my own clicker and a good attitude. By the way, I love blueberries, bananas, tangerines, and unsalted pistachios in case you want to stock up now. Call me!"
