I've been happily adopted, but check below for a list of other sweet birds who need a home!

Not every actor can be a swashbuckler, and not every lovebird can be Flynn! I was sprung from the dungeons of Alta California where some scallywags had dumped me, looking a bit skinny and rough around the edges. But my lust for life was insatiable, and as soon as my new human comrades found me room at a nearby inn, I downed a hearty meal of avi-cakes and millet. And with the bracing mist from a spray bottle, I began showing my true colors as a dashing fellow with with a feather in his cap (well, feathers everywhere). I've got a sharp eye and a quick wit. I love my out-of-cage time tease my flockmates, but that's part of my charm. I'm an action-loving bird and even do my own stunts. I enjoy a hearty meal, conversation, and a good song, especially if someone will sing it to me. I'm also a man of mystery. Some say I may have been mistreated in prison, because I'm still wary of hands, and have been in my share of beak duels with them. Maybe I'm still a privateer at heart, or at least I'm acting that part for awhile, as I readjust to civilization. Perhaps you should think of me as one of those birds who's happiest as a single companion, watching and being watched - at least for now. But over time who knows what I can do? I'm smart, I'm handsome, I'm Flynn! And I'm ready for more adventures - maybe with you as my sidekick! To hear more about me, please contact the lovebird coordinator.
