Hello. I'm Diana, Princess of Wales. Yes, I understand there's an explanation needed. I'm a Princess of Wales parakeet. And I'm a male parakeet. I was rescued 12 years ago from a pet store that wouldn't take me to a vet, even though I was sick. The pet store even made my rescuer pay for me! She nursed me back to health and I've been fine for many years. She didn't know I was a male bird, so she named me Diana for...well, you know. I respond to my name, so it would be very awkward to change it now!

There have been lots of changes in my life, and in my person's life over the years. She has a baby and a job and doesn't have much time to take me out of my cage and play with me. I'm unhappy and keep telling her how unhappy I am. So, my person has asked Mickaboo to find me a new home. As you can see, I am an unusually beautiful bird (we Princess of Wales parakeets are known for our beautiful colors). I used to be a friendly bird that liked human company (well, maybe not finger tame, but a good companion, nevertheless). With some time and patience, perhaps you could remind me of the good times I used to have in human company. Now, if we can just avoid those annoying papparazzi.....
