I'm Dixie, a very sweet and tame female cockatiel. I have been in a Mickaboo home for a while now so have had a chance to show my true colors. (OK, obviously I am grey with orange and yellow markings on my face, but that's not what I'm talking about.) I am a friendly and easy-going girl. I like people and children, and I am used to being around dogs and cats (at a reasonably safe distance, of course). I like being petted on top of my head -- see my picture! -- and I like my fruits and vegetables. I'm a neat and clean girl and I appreciate being showered with a mist bottle to keep me that way. I want to be somebody's best friend and confidante, in a home where I can be close to the action all of the time. I'm not picky and not too demanding. As long as you'll be kind and take good care of me, I'll be sweet and will provide you with love and friendship. Sometimes the best things in life are the simplest. Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
