Update 5/28/09: Hi, my name is Shadow, and this pretty girl is Sunshine. We are a very handsome, bonded pair. We were adopted from Mickaboo into a very nice family a couple of years ago, but due to unfortunate circumstances beyond anyone's control, we had to be returned. Right now we are living in a foster home, which is fine, but we would really love to find a permanent home together. We are a little shy, but if one of us ends up on the floor we will readily step up, no problem. And we like other cockatiels too, so no problem if you already have a flock. And did I mention - we really are a handsome pair?! You can see where I got my name. I'm a subtly colored white-faced pied cockatiel. I'm a pal of Sunshine and we were lucky enough to find a new home thanks to Mickaboo. I'm both the more dominant and friendlier of this dynamic duo. I'm also a talented songster. I've not quite mastered stepping up yet, but I will stay on a shoulder once I get there. I enjoy watching the wild birds outdoors. Sometimes I get so excited seeing them through the window that I just have to fly around the room! Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
