I'm Oz. A 15 year old (more or less) Goffins Cockatoo. I've lived with the same person for the last 10 years but he felt it would be in my best interest if I could have a family that could spend more1:1 time with me. I'm not really the affectionate type but I do like hanging out with people. I don't mind dogs or cats. In fact I've developed this little game with the dog I'd been living with, where we bark/squawk back and froth at one another. Sometimes it can get pretty loud! I'm not really into healthy foods yet so my foster mom has some work ahead of her. My favorite foods in the past have been things like sunflower seeds, peanuts and pizza crust. I do like fruits though so that is a good start! My last person believes that I was originally a wild caught cockatoo because of the type of band I had on my leg. Maybe this why I still have a bit of a wild streak in me! I'm not really THAT loud -- except when I don't have my person within my sight. What can I say? I like company. Do you have a home, and a schedule, which would allow for a cute little guy, like me in your life? I need a place with a roomy cage, someone to interact with me on a daily basis, and teach me how to eat good food. I already love to bathe in a dish of water-- so bathing's not an issue. My wings aren't currently clipped because last time I was clipped, I reacted by plucking LOTS of my feathers out. That was over 2 years ago though. My feathers are now grown back in. I'm a bit sensitive about those sort of things. Give it some thought, do a little research on 'toos, and get back to the Mickaboo folks as soon as possible OK? I'll be waiting to hear from you. Notice: Due to the notoriously difficult nature of cockatoos, Mickaboo prefers that cockatoos not be a households' first parrot.
