Hi, I'm Fiona, a white-faced pearled cockatiel with a Scottish name. Like so many birds, I came to Mickaboo from a shelter. Mickaboo has good working relationships with all of the shelters in the greater Bay Area. When the shelters take in a bird who looks like she needs special care, they call on the experts at Mickaboo! So, after spending a few weeks taking prescribed antibiotics for medically diagnosed infections, I'm feeling much better. I am not quite ready to be adopted yet because I need to build up my strength a little bit more. I'm eating well, I get along well with other cockatiels, and I am curious about people even though I don't like to step onto a hand yet. Check back soon to see how I am doing! Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
