Hello, my name is Diego. I was left at the night drop at a shelter, and was luckily rescued by some Mickaboo volunteers. I'm now settled into my foster home, and am best buds with my room mates Ruffian and Jaywalker http://mickaboo.org/our-birds/frame3509.html. I am a younger budgie, and am very sweet. My foster mom says I have a sparkle in my eye that shows her how smart I am! I am not quite used to hands yet, but I always see one in my cage around dinner time with yummy treats on it. I've almost gotten enough courage to take a treat from the hand, just not yet. I eat lots of pellets, and some seeds, but, like most kids, don't quite like to eat my vegetables. My room mates seem to like them though. Maybe I'll see what all their fuss is about one of these days. I am looking for a forever home with a human and another budgie friend. I do like having a person around me and will love to share with you all about my exciting day! Notice: Due to the highly social nature of parakeets, unless a household currently includes a parakeet, Mickaboo generally requires that a minimum of two parakeets be adopted. Print this page |
