Update 4/19/11 Peaches is very particular about who he likes but if he connects with you he will be a lifelong buddy. Has a lot of little quirks that you have to be aware of but he is amazingly smart and has that look about him that demands respect. He does not do well with kids or very active pets. And I always thought he would do better in a one person household. Loves to hang upside down from your hand and spin. Will spend hours in a box of blocks. Loves to explore. Yes, it's true. I was forced to live in a garage. I'm Peaches and I was found living in an auto body paint garage with fumes everywhere. It's a miracle I survived! Those fumes are dangerous to a bird. My person had actually paid eighteen hundred dollars for me, which I say is a bargain for someone as handsome as me! But of course, I'm a living being, not a decoration. Also, my person got tired of hearing me squawk, so I wound up living at the paint shop. Thank goodness I was rescued before it was too late! Now this spirited cockatoo is looking for a home. I like to dance, show off, and get lots and lots of attention! Would you like to learn more? Mickaboo can tell you all about me! Notice: Due to the notoriously difficult nature of cockatoos, Mickaboo prefers that cockatoos not be a households' first parrot.
