You are very lucky indeed. I, Cassidy, a friendly lesser sulpher crested cockatoo am available for adoption! Unfortunately my family of twenty years must give me up. Although I lived with them my entire life it is time to move on. My mom needs to take care of my dad now full time so they thought I might like a home where I get more attention. I like kids too! Not necessarily being held by them but I love being around them. They are just so cute, almost as cute as me! I've been fed a healthy diet of fresh vegetables and fruits and I have also regularly been seen by an avian vet. So, I am in good health. I do have a tiny spot on my chest where I started to pluck. I did that when my dad got sick and my mom started taking care of my dad, so I was starting to get a lot less attention than I was used to. Right now I am only able to be out of my cage about once per week for an hour. I'd really prefer to be out daily so I can stretch my wings. I don't really talk but if you ask me what I am doing I always respond with a funny little phrase, "wash wash" Chewable things are a must for me, as I love to chew up my hanging toys. I also like to hang upside down in my cage and flap my wings. I am quite a site to see! I'm pretty much a one person bird so I will most likely pick my favorite person in your household and want to spend time with them primarily. If you think we are a match I suggest that you contact Mickaboo as quickly as possible. A bird like me is likely to go fast! Notice: Due to the notoriously difficult nature of cockatoos, Mickaboo prefers that cockatoos not be a households' first parrot.
