Hi there. My name is Little V and I'm a lutino pied cockatiel. I came to Mickaboo at about the same time as Ollie, who's also a lutino pied and who, like me, was found outdoors and brought to a shelter. It probably seems strange to you that somebody is letting gorgeous companion birds like Ollie and me fly free and face the dangers of the outdoors. Mickaboo's cockatiel coordinators surmise that perhaps a do-it-yourself breeder is accidentally letting birds escape, or even letting them go deliberately because they don't "produce." Yikes. For me, the past is something I'd rather leave behind. I am a happy, friendly bird and am already in a home with someone who's planning to adopt me. So, if you were interested in taking me home, I am sorry to let you down. May I suggest that you check out some of Mickaboo's other cockatiels who are available. Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
