Hello! My name is Manly and I am a super cute, unbanded white homing pigeon with temporarily limited flight abilities because some of my flight feathers and all of my tail feathers have been clipped. (My previous owner probably thought that was a safe way to keep me from flying away but it isn't.) I got lost and then was rescued as a stray and taken to SF ACC and then, on April 11, MickaCoo took me in and now I am seeking a forever home in an aviary or to be resettled in a homers' loft. I am very tame and like the company of other pigeons and people alike! In fact, I am such a loveable couch potato, my foster Mom talks about keeping me as her pet! They were calling me Lovely at the shelter, but I was renamed Manly when I strutted my stuff as I came out of the cage! UPDATE: Manly laid an egg! She's a VERY tame, friendly homer hen (!) now renamed Mandee and adopted by her foster mom! Print this page |
