Hello- My name is Rio and I'm a king pigeon. I was found wandering the streets of SF injured (I could barely walk) and hungry and scared with no place to go. Luckily, on 1/6/10, I was taken to SFACC where they provided food and shelter. My time there had run out and I was facing euthanasia but instead, MickaCoo made room for me and took me into foster care. My right ankle joint was so painful and infected that I couldn't put any weight on it and then I had to get twice a day shots (!!) of antibiotics which wasn't all that fun except that they worked and now I'm healed! I'm currently a single bachelor. My foster mom says I'm a gentleman and really likes me a lot. I would like to settle down- with a home and a mate...
