Little Ivory here a (likely) male umbrella cockatoo of about 28 years of age. Are you impressed? I am a sweet, albeit shy, bird. I've been with my family for most of my life. They are having difficulty caring for me though now, so thought it best to place me in a home where I can get more attention and live out the rest of my years. I should have many left as we cockatoos can live well into our fifties and sixites. I'm a pretty boy, in good feather, and will step up onto your hand or arm. (Check out my photos ). Though I was only handled by the man of the house the past twenty years I am still friendly to others with just a bit of a preference towards men. Once my foster family has interacted with me awhile they will provide Mickaboo with an update about me and my coordinator can tell you more about me. So please check back ok? Hope to see you soon! Notice: Due to the notoriously difficult nature of cockatoos, Mickaboo prefers that cockatoos not be a households' first parrot.
