Hello- I am a VERY lucky king pigeon! I was found on 12/16/09 wandering the streets of SF. I was just a baby bird- only about 4 weeks old and I'm a domestic bird with no skills to survive on my own even if I was old enough but luckily for me, I was taken to the SFACC animal shelter. Then, just at the time when they were going to have to euthanize me (!!!) because I hadn't been adopted yet, a VERY nice family drove all the way up from Palo Alto to meet me and decided that they would adopt me and a friend, too! So now I have a HOME!! Me and Scooter are settling in and our people are getting used to our pigeon ways. We're building a relationship, happy to be alive and grateful to have a home!
