Scarlet came to us looking for a new forever home after spending the past few years without much human or flock interaction. Prior to that she lived with her beloved male eclectus but they were moved to separate homes, which is when she became withdrawn and started plucking. Since moving to her foster home in mid December she has shown that she really does enjoy human interaction, the gentle words, the offers of comfort, sharing foods and being part of a "flock". Her foster mom reports that she is very animated and she sees improvement all the time and she doesn't seem to be plucking.
