I've been happily adopted, but check below for a list of other sweet birds who need a home!

Greetings! My name is Emerson and I'm what you call a cinnamon lutino cockatiel. The "cinnamon" refers to the greyish-tan color of my wings, and the "lutino" is the bright creamy yellow on my body and head. I'm a handsome little bird, and I'm fairly young -- under four years old. I came to Mickaboo because I was a little too vocal in my previous home. I lived with a few budgies and my voice was much stronger than theirs. What can I say, I like to sing. I also do a pretty good imitation of a washing machine in spin cycle.

I like being out of my cage and around people but I haven't been handled very much yet. My foster dad is working with me on that. I like eating fruit-flavored pellets but only the red ones. I am also getting used to eating vegetables and other colors and flavors of pellets but that will take a little time. Like I said, I'm still young and have some learning to do. I like to be around people, budgies and other cockatiels and I'm an all-around friendly guy. Once I learn how to step up onto a hand I'm likely to be quite a little socializer. My foster dad says that I have a lot of pet potential and will provide many years of companionship for the right family -- perhaps yours?

Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted.
