Santiago is a wild parrot of Telegraph Hill who came into Mickaboo with early-stage neurological problems. After veterinary treatment, he's almost completely healed; sometimes he has trouble aiming for a treat in your hand, and gets around his cage a little slower than his companion, Indiana, but is otherwise a healthy, outgoing conure. He is very curious about other birds and will take treats from any human who offers, but he is still not sure about stepping up. Indiana is a baby wild parrot of Telegraph Hill who came to Mickaboo having crashed into a building. She isn't too sure about humans unless they come bearing treats -- then she's happy to step up onto your hand. Indy is relatively quiet and calm (for a conure) and is super-smart; she learned how to "touch" the end of a pen with her beak in ten minutes flat and now her foster home is working with her to get her stepping up consistently. She argues with her friend, Santiago, over who gets to do clicker training. Indy still needs a little work, but has the potential to be a very sweet, very tame companion parrot.
