Hi, my name is Pilot, and I am a sweet sun conure. My original owners had me for five years, but then decided they are not really bird people, so they gave me to Mickaboo, where I am in a loving foster home. I am a happy little guy, content to sit on your shoulder for hours or to sit on your wrist while you type on a keyboard. I will give you kisses and groom your hair if you let me. And I love doing projects with you, anything from doing the dishes to folding the laundry. I also love going in the shower with you or playing in the sink to take baths. I tend to like my days regimented and orderly. In general, I like to have 14+ hours of quiet, dark, covered happy time in my cage. I will sleep in as late as you do, if I am well covered, and I like a nap in the afternoon for an hour or two. I do not talk, but I do have what my foster dad says is a very strange version of "hello" that you will recognize once you hear it enough. I also click and chuffle when I am happy and I make water drinking and apple crunching noises if I see you with something I want a taste of. Somehow I also seem to understand the cadence of a joke and will laugh at appropriate moments! I would love to find a forever home where I can unpack my bags for good.
