Hi! I am such a lucky guy! My name is Mac, a Blue & Gold macaw approximately 2-3 years old. A realtor inspecting a vacant property found me abandoned by the previous tenant. She started feeding me, moved me to a warm safe place and contacted Mickaboo. Now I have joined this great organization and am in a special foster home where I am waiting for the right family to adopt me. I'd love to come to a family where I know if they have to move I get to go too. I am friendly. Stay tuned for updates. Update: 11/30/2008 I have become a Mickaboo ambassador almost overnight. I am living in a pet shop owned by a Mickaboo volunteer that only showcases rescue animals. I am so handsome that customers just stop and stare. I have a good disposition and am pleased with the activity around me so would probably do very well in an active home. Contact my coordinator if you want to get approved to meet me.
