Annie is new to Mickaboo. She was a shelter rescue like so many birds we take in. She was surrendered to the shelter by her owner. We don't know much about her but we do know that she is one year old. Here is what her foster dad has to say about her so far: "She is now in quarantine in my extra room. She is lively, alert and vocal. She eats well and preens as normal. Though not hand friendly, she will sit still when carefully cupped against my chest and will receive head scratches and neck rubs". Please check back for updates as this pretty little girl settles in her new foster home. Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
