Fluffy here. I'm a small, female budgerigar, or, as they call us in the pet industry, parakeet. When I say that I'm small, you might be thinking that, yes, of course I am, being a parakeet and all. Well, I'm a bit small even by parakeet standards. I'm also quiet, mild-mannered and a bit timid. Before I came to Mickaboo I lived with a flock of other parakeets in an aviary, and my foster mom says that I am still more oriented to flock living than to interacting with people. Since I've been prone to laying a lot of eggs, I should only be housed with other female parakeets, preferably a smaller flock of gentler ones like me. I'm already on a great diet and have gorgeous blue plumage. I'm all ready to go to the right loving household, one that will provide me with a safe home where I can keep my sweet nature. Notice: Due to the highly social nature of parakeets, unless a household currently includes a parakeet, Mickaboo generally requires that a minimum of two parakeets be adopted. Print this page |
