Hello! My name is Mojave, a DNA sexed female Greenwing Macaw born in 1998. I am very friendly and talkative. My nickname is Mojo or Mojorina. A very important fact is that I have been loved and well cared for. Another not so important fact is that I am almost plucked naked! A couple of very good vets have examined me and think I just got lonely and bored. I will need someone who can teach me how to stay busy physically and psychologically. I have a great personality. Here is some of my schtick! I say: Hello, Hi, Bye-Bye, Wow, What's that, Uh oh. I wave my foot when I say Hi. I say Step Up and Flap Flap and do the action too. I say Apple or Cracker, when I want a Walnut. I Meow, Bark, Growl. I make kissing noises and can play Peek-a-boo. And lots more. So when you have an absolute star like me who cares if I show more than a little skin. I'm a newbie to Mickaboo and will need a couple weeks to get adjusted. Update 7/18/08: Ny foster mom says I am just a quiet, shy bird who seems to prefer doing my own thing. I'm not too much for people touching me and if I step up it is definitely on my terms. I prefer quiet, low key environment with someone around during the day. Please don't consider me if you have little kids or noisy dogs or a really active home. Print this page |
