Hi, I'm Jolie, a very attractive cinnamon cockatiel, about 9 years old. I first came to Mickaboo after being found outdoors, shivering and cold. After some time spent getting healthy and strong, I was adopted by a nice family. That lasted for several years but, due to a change in my adoptive home they came to the realization that they couldn't keep me so I am back in Mickaboo foster care. One thing that you should know about me: I can be a bit vocal and energetic for a female cockatiel. I won't shake your walls or wake your neighbors but there are times when I just feel like chirping and singing. I can even wolf-whistle, which is something that not many female cockatiels can do. The way I see it, life's good, I'm happy, and I'm going to sing about it. Simple, huh? As you can see I'm a gorgeous light grey color. I also have a distinctive yellow stripe across the back of my head, which you can't quite see in this picture. I'm on a great diet, I love taking showers and playing on toys and gyms, and I enjoy the company of people and other birds. I will make a great companion for some lucky person or family. Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted. Print this page |
