We'd like to introduce ourselves - we are Patsy and Thumper, both nine years old, and we're a bonded male/female pair. This may confuse you somewhat but Thumper, that's me, is a female and Patsy is a male. Now, of course our owners didn't know that when we were named years ago and now we know these as our names and it doesn't bother us one bit that they may not be politically correct! I, Thumper, have had a bit of a health problem lately. I've had a history of egg laying in the past, and just recently my owner found some bloody patches on my backside. A nice lady avian vet examined me just recently though and can't find anything wrong at this time. My foster mom will keep an eye on me though. I also have this weird thing where I have no feathers around my eyes. I look rather like a bare-eyed cockatoo if you can imagine that! Everyone is still trying to figure out that one. Perhaps Patsy is over preening me as he kisses me all over my face. Only we know for sure. Our previous owner said we can get quite vocal at times but so far my foster mom has not been privy to this behavior. Maybe we decided, as we got older, that we should settle down a bit. At any rate we, together, need a new home. We'd like it to be a home where we can get some attention and have a cage right in the middle of all the action - like your living room area. Got a place like that in your home? If so please contact Mickaboo and tell them you'd like to meet us. Don't waste any time - please call!

Notice: Cockatiels are flock animals, and most of them are much happier when they live with at least one other cockatiel! Because of this, unless a household currently includes another cockatiel, Mickaboo usually requires that a minimum of two cockatiels be adopted.
