Free Bird Care Class, Sunnyvale, CA 94087

This is a Free Bird Care Class for all!  And a Mickaboo Adoption Fair will be happening on the same day at For Other Living Things, in the same mall.

This class is free (although donations are appreciated) and is open to the general bird-loving public. Everyone interested in fostering or adopting a bird from Mickaboo must attend our class on bird care prior to receiving a bird. 

This classroom's size requires us to have RSVPs - please email class@mickaboo.org, with the number of people who will be attending AND whether you would want expedited adoption application processing (takes an hour or two after the class, and requires you to submit your online application on the morning of the class).

The class covers these topics:

• Proper avian care
• Proper avian diet
• Symptoms of illness and first aid
• General husbandry
• Taming and training
• And much much more...

We have bird care classes scheduled throughout the Bay Area. For those who cannot attend a class in person, we occasionally schedule phone classes.
